Jidy Chitta

About this speaker
Jidy joined the Charter Cities Institute in September 2023 as an Associate in the Special Projects division. His primary role at CCI is developing new city projects in Zanzibar, where he currently lives. Previously, Jidy served as Chief of Staff to the CEO at Braavos Cities, a charter city search fund that explored projects in Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Before entering the charter city space, he worked as a VC and private equity analyst at SageLink Capital and Kickstart Seed Fund. He studied economics, business, and international development at Brigham Young University.
His talk at the Free Cities Online Summit will focus on the Urban Lab being developed by the Charter Cities Institute in Fumba Town, Zanzibar.
