About this speaker
Hartmut Sieper is a distinguished financial expert and pioneer in emerging markets with over three decades of experience. After studying at the Technical University of Darmstadt, he built an impressive career in banking before becoming a board member of a private equity company focused on Eastern European markets in the early 1990s. In 2007, his pioneering spirit led him to African markets, where he later managed a Pan-African equities fund. A prolific author and sought-after speaker, Hartmut founded his own consulting company in 1997. Having established businesses across Africa and traveled to over 75 countries, he relocated to Mauritius in 2015, where he now consults on African market entry strategies.
