About this speaker
Frank Karsten is the founder of the MoreFreedom Foundation and co-founder of the Mises Institute Netherlands. He co-authored the acclaimed book Beyond Democracy (2012), which has been translated into over 20 languages. At the Free Cities Summit, Frank will explore the book's central themes, highlighting the flaws of Western democratic parliamentary systems and demonstrating how Free Cities present an opportunity to implement innovative alternative governance models. Another notable work of Frank’s is his 2018 book The Discrimination Myth: A Liberating View on Prejudice and Inequality, a bold critique of egalitarian ideals that argues the fight against discrimination often fuels exclusion and polarization.
